The Safety Management System, or SMS, is a system that aims to organize actions that will lead the company to reach expected levels of Operational Safety.
Safety is the state in which risks associated with aviation activities, related to, or in direct support of the operation of aircraft, are reduced and controlled to an acceptable level.
Mill Táxi Aéreo safety is a responsibility of all company employees, as well as, other persons who provide services to the company. Management positions employees are trained and qualified following ANAC requirements.
Company’s policy aims to contribute to safety performance ensurance and to provide human and material resources to comply with regulatory requirements.
This policy is disclosed to all employees and reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the complexity of our activities and practicable, moreover must be supported by all company’s employees. Mr. Wilton Flávio Silveira Teixeira, Safety Manager, is the responsible for SMS implementation and administration within the company, on behalf of the Accountable Executive.
All individuals — including employees, managers, contractors, or service providers who are directly or indirectly involved in providing services to the company — must follow the procedures established in this document. Thus applying the principles of just culture ensures a positive operational safety culture. Furthermore, this culture will always be verified by surveys periodically.
The Safety Manager has direct responsibility for the company's operations risk management besides maintaining the SMS Manual updated concerning activities executed.
